Been here a couple of times. Service is always nice, and food served hot. I like the chicken yakisoba best followed by the spicy teriyaki.
Very low key interior and space.
The only oddity an order of rice is $3 bucks and $4 bucks for brown rice. Made that mistake once and only once. -

I spotted this place on a list of Seattle's best teriyaki places and was excited because it's close to home for me. My partner and I grabbed a quick take-out meal here after work--I got the chicken teriyaki bento with the California roll and my partner got the Udon with pork. The chicken teriyaki was great and the 4 sushi pieces were fantastic as well. My partner enjoyed the Udon although we noticed it all came in one container instead of separated--maybe because we chose the takeout option. The space itself is cute, nothing fancy, and located conveniently on 35th near the Safeway and many other shops. We did notice that we were charged a bit more than the menu indicated we should have been, but there was no breakdown for prices so we couldn't tell what the extra charge was for (rice, maybe??). All in all, not a bad experience, and I'll always choose to support a local business over a chain.

I've been going to this place for years cause they're the closest to me. But they suck. They take forever just to take my order, standing for 5 minutes and even longer for the food plus even longer for your food, they are rather pricey for the amount you get, they aren't very good, like they're fine but there are better places out there. They're have had weird hours and not open on the weekends at all? Really? So they're not fast, cheap, or great tasting, so why even bother.

This place was not good at all. The salad dressing was terrible, the rice was sticky, and sticking to the to go box, and it was COVERED in teriyaki sauce. Way to much. It was honestly hard to eat. Would not go back

This place is close to my office so I've eaten here dozens of times over the years. Solid 4 stars for I Heart Bento. Food has always been good if not great, prices are very reasonable and portion sizes are perfect. My coworkers all like this place too. The building is a tad run down and it's not fancy by any stretch of the imagination. But overall they make a great meal and I'll keep coming back at long as the spicy teriyaki is on the menu!
